Graduate PLUS Loan interest rates

Graduate PLUS loan rates are fixed at 8.5%. Interest is charged on the loan from the date the first disbursement is made until the loan is paid in full. Interest and principal payments can be deferred while a graduate student is in school, but interest will capitalize upon entering repayment.

Due to a legislative error, a small number of schools will have Graduate PLUS loans listed with an interest rate of 7.9%.
